Sheet feauture in family enviroment, what is it used for?

I have seen the "sheets"feature inside the family creating enviroment, but never used it. When i search online i can't find anything about it either. It just comes up how to creat drawings on a family, not what im after. So what is it used for and when can would it come handy?

It's just a left over from the project browser window, used inside a family. Notice that Revit Links is also visible in the project browser, even though we cannot insert Revit links in a family.
