Revit 24- I can't edit model groups

I just started working with a model created by a third party vendor. This is a multi-family project so all the Residential Units have been made into model groups. There are some mistakes in the Units that I need to correct but when I select the model group and click the "Edit Group", Revit goes into group edit mode and I can edit the model group but the "save changes" check mark and "cancel changes" x are not available in the ribbon. Furthermore, the model becomes stuck in group edit mode and the only way I have found to get out is Undo.

Hi,

Check this article: In-group-edit-mode-Finish-and-Cancel-buttons-are-missing-from-Revit-ribbon

For now, you can use the Shortcuts to Finish Group.

Try using the following keyboard shortcuts for the "Edit Group" panel:

  • AP for adding elements
  • RG for removing elements.
  • AD attaching detail group.
  • FG Finish and save the group.
  • CG Cancel.

Select Accept as Solution and Likes are always welcome.
