Shared Coordinates

Hello,

I am using a shared coordinate file created from Civil 3d, When linking in a model. I still get the message that objects are greater than 20 miles away. Is there a way around this as to not get this message and not have a problem with any elements.

Hi, there is no way to solve this problem, even if you change the coordinate system with a linked project or an auxiliar plugin. However this error, does not interfere with any design or modeling process.

In turns of these trouble, there is a good information about it.

Help | Geometry in the File Has Extents Greater Than 20 Miles (33km) | Autodesk

As resume in the linked file you should, move the objects, to the 0,0,0 coords.

And another thing is that revit is designed for architectural projects not for urbanism so, for now on it will always has this trouble.

Do you have the warning message if you choose Center to Center when linking?
