Separating Revit Backups By Settings

Hi All,

Please, is there any settings in Revit that can separate where backups are saved by default. I would prefer my backups to be saved in a different folder in relation to my original/main file Why? I often mistakenly open the backup files instead of the original file and this could be frustrating at time

A built in option no there isn’t..

1. you can schedule a .bat file to move them daily or on startup see this post here (Solved: Revit Backup Files - Autodesk Community)
2. use a 3rd party plugin (there are many that organizes backups). The followig is not a recommendation, only an example: Backup File Organizer | Autodesk App Store
