Section Box not visible in 3D view (Revit 2024)

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble with the Section Box in Revit 2024. In my 3D view, I enabled the Section Box option in the Properties palette, and I also checked that it is visible in Visibility/Graphics - Annotation Categories - Section Boxes (it’s turned on).

However, I still cannot see the section box rectangle in my 3D view.

• Verified that the Section Box is enabled in the 3D view properties.

• Confirmed that “Section Boxes” is checked under Visibility/Graphics.

• Switched to plan and elevation views to see if the box was far away from the model.

• Duplicated the 3D view and re-enabled Section Box.

The strange thing is: if I create a new project file, the Section Box works fine and I can see/adjust it normally. The issue only happens in this file (which has linked models).

Thank you so much! I spent a couple of hours that night struggling with it until I finally gave up. I completely overlooked the existence of the “Hidden” tool — total beginner’s mistake! 😞
