Scheduling Issue

Hello,

Please can someone help me.

I am unable to add a row to my schedule on Revit and apparently it is because when I created the schedule I didn't change the properties to 'Schedule Keys' instead it is set as 'Schedule building components'. 

Is there a way I change the schedule from schedule building component to schedule keys without creating a whole new schedule. OR alternatively do you know how I can add a row to the schedule that is set as a 'Schedule building component'?

No. They are two completely different animals. You will have to create a new key schedule.

Do you NEED a key schedule? The purpose of a key schedule is not the same as a regular schedule. If your goal is the schedule elements in a project, you need to use a regular schedule.

Schedule building components is for instances in the model.

Schedule key is more like a dictionary.
