Hello,
I need a parametric armchair, but I have already looked everywhere and I could not find it... Could you please help me find a website where i could download an armchair for free? It is similiar this one from the photo:
Thank you very much...
Parametric? Like a BarcaLounger Recliner? ![]()
Serious though; "Parametric" how? Width and Depth and Height...and maybe recline angle?
Search for Armchair: Bimobject, Herman Miller, Kohler, Knoll....
sorry, I meant Knoll, not Kohler (although I sometime spent more time on a toilet seat than on an armchair).

Hi,
It is far more difficult to create an armchair than a table... unfortunately. I have serached for a tutorial for creating an armchair but I coudn´t find it..

If you've already looked everywhere, then there is no hope of finding it. Best to focus on making it yourself, although I think that it's a bit overkill unless it's a custom piece that can be ordered in multiple sizes. Probably better to make one family (for each size) or maybe a few types.

It is? I don't think so. Maybe you missed the point which was how to build a parametric Family.
Unpopular opinion: Unless you actually model the Revit family to fabricate a custom master piece of armchair (which I don't believe you do based on the photo of the chairs), there is hardly a reason to model it. Find something close enough from endless free online resources. Make those resources work for you.
Here is just an example from one manufacturer and there are plenty of them out there.

I see... I will try to do it again... I have already tried to do sth before, but I found a bit hard...
Thanks anyway...
Best Regards,
In fact, I have not really looked everywhere.... only in the most famous websites like Bimobject and Revit City...One thing I became aware of after reading the answers from the forum in English, is that my country (Brazil) does not offer manufacturer websites with revit furniture available ...We can only find nice revit families from foreign manufacturers...
Therefore, I will look for the armachair in those American and European websites...mainly the ones people here told me...![]()
