You get element ID numbers by default in the first column when using the Database Editor. Have a look in the Revit App store and download the trial version. One can then filter what element you look for and export to Excel, PDF and print.
Has there been and development on this? being able to capture the Element ID and best and the GUID with a Revit schedule would be extremely valuable for exporting from Revit and importing into other software for visualizations and key column mapping needs.
Hi,
In Revit 2023 and 2024, you can add the IfcGUID to your schedules and then export it to Excel.
