Rotation of ceiling grid

Hello everyone,

And yet another dilemma...: I created a compound ceiling and need to change the rotation of only certain sections of the ceiling, not the entire ceiling. I chose to continue to model the ceiling boundaries in one whole ceiling because the heights are the same and it's the same type. Now I'm wondering if I have to do it all over so I can get the different sections to rotate properly. Anyone?

I think so... Are both of those drawn with the same group of boundary lines? How?

Nope. Sorry. 2 different sketches. New one is overlaid, and original one modified using Pick Line method to sketch a hole around the overlaid one.

for the parts that need a different grid, use the Split Face command, and Paint the face with a "duplicated" material.

Unless that ceiling is going to actually be built as one large ceiling, you are going to want to change it to one ceiling per room.  The contractor is going to look at you like "What are you thinking?" when it comes to those restrooms.

You can TAB - select a line of the ceiling pattern and rotate it as needed.
