I wanted to share an update with you:
This issue has been confirmed as a bug. Thanks for reporting this.
The development team was able to reproduce this issue in Revit 2018 and 2019 when Roombook is installed. There is a noticeable delay when opening views. If the add-in is disabled, and Revit is restarted, it is faster opening \and also when switching views.
Please try the below in the meantime:
For the customer in the meantime, if you are not using Roombook you can simply move the 3 addin files (Buildingbook.addin, Areabook.addin and Roombook.addin) that are located in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2018 to some other temporary location.
I will watch out for any future updates from the bug report. Feel free to ping me @Viveka_CD to check back.
