hello

I have an example of a staircase that turns 90 degrees between levels. however, I would like the room to be in both volumes. I tried with a volume room calculation, but it only works partially. do you have a suggestion?

thks

Place the room on level 2 and drag the bottom grip down to level 1.

Scratch that, @Yien_Chao. I see what you are trying to do now.  Don't think you can get there with 1 room.

You want it to be Room because you need the color in a color scheme on both levels or because you need the Volume?

Need it for volume calculation and tag on plan.

Think i will just duplicate the room then.

Normally a Space volume is used for HVAC calculation, not sure what would a Room volume can be used for.

For tagging, create two rooms with identical data (name, number, etc...), one on each level.  You can group the room schedule by number un untick itemize box so the two rooms shown as one row.  Set the Volume field to Calculate Totals to get the overall volume.
