Room boundaries

When I try to mark this one particular room, I get an error that it is outside of it's room. This is where the room shows when I direct it to move to the room.

Maybe it is not bound properly. Use Room Separator Lines to close the gaps between Room bounding elements.

...also turn on Room Interior Fill so you can see the extents of the room.

If you have a finish floor that is higher than the level then select it and change to non room bounding.

I placed a room separator box in the center of the room and it does the same thing

That's what I initially thought it was, but I removed the finish floor and it still does it. I also went through and delated all of the room separators.

Maybe you have more than one floors that are higher than the level.  Reveal hidden elements to find out

  1. Did you check phasing?
  2. or if Separator are on one level while Room being placed on a view view associated with another level?
  3. or if Separators and rooms are in the same/different design option?
