Need more information. There is hardly enough there to make an intelligent guess. But if I had to guess at this point, I say the surface hatch pattern was soooo dense that it appears black at 1:1. Zoom in close and tight on a portion of the "black" roof. See anything more than black? Do you see hatch linework?
