Revit to ADT 2007

Is there a way to go from revit to ADT 2007 and maintain or have some kind of layer structure. I'm trying to collaborate on a project with the other person who is using Revit and when I open it up in ADT 2007 everything is on layer 0.

Yes there is. Whoever is working in Revit is the responsible one to modify the export settings. Under File and Import/Export Settings select export settings dwg/dxf. Within that you should be able to give a name and lineweight to everything that exports out of Revit. It would require collaboration between the Revit user and ADT user. You can then save it and only use it for the file sharing between them and you. And then create more to fit the needs of other consultants. There is some info on this in the help menu. It helped me get through it.
