ADT 2006 DWGS and Revit and Proxygraphics

I have just learned that in order for AEC objects
to show in Revit, the proxygraphics variable needs to be set to 1 in the
DWG.

Someone has also told me that this will tend to
increase DWG files sizes.

Does anyone have any idea how much larger DWGs
become with this variable on?  By default we have it off.

I seem to recall that it could increase your ADT
file size by a factor of 10.

It could be version-dependent. My numbers come from pre-ADT 2004 days. There
were some significant changes to the file format at that time that
drastically reduced file sizes.
