Dear Autodesk,
We are a small architecture practice and working with Macs throughout. We are running Revit through Bootcamp and have only recently started working in this way. There is a problem we have encountered when a colleague is trying to create a local file. Through online research it seems that Windows and Mac path folders differently and this is possibly the issue to correct.
- Is there an easy answer/solution to this Revit workshare issue that autodesk can provide?
- Without being able to collaborate / workshare, our bootcamp Revit project is not an option.
- On a related subject, our autocad for Mac and autocad for Windows do not communicate with each other on the same network.
- There is the absence of any file read-only alert when 2 people are accessing the same file when working in point 3.
- The xrefing is not clean either with xrefs not being found when using autocad for Windows in bootcamp.
I hope the above detail is clear enough to gather a solution.
Thank you in advance.
