Revit stops responding after opening a project

Hello, i'm having problems with revit crashing after opening some projects, it happens only with a few of them, I guess it depends on the size of the project since it had happened with files over 30mb. It doesn't even show a error message it just freezes the program.

it's not even using all the computer resources.

Any help would be appreciated.

I couldn't tell what is causing this, without seeing the issue live. However, here is a post that I responded to last week and solved an issue that could be similar to yours, because it targets most of the troubleshooting steps that we use everyday at our support help desk and client support:
