Revit: Sheet export to DWG not maintaining view scale

I'm trying to export a single sheet, that I have set up with views in the correct scale, to DWG. Instead of keeping one section at 1/8" the other at 3/8", and the plan at 1/8", the DWG opens with all views at 1:1 scale, and the annotation text is so large that a single number is 9' wide. What am I doing wrong? I am opening the DWG in Rhino, but isn't a DWG just vector lines?

I checked, and the units were inches, which makes sense to me since the sheet views are set up in fractions. But then the dwg opens in feet

Are you sure you aren't exporting Views instead of Sheets?  Does it open in Layout or Model Space?

Sorry I've abandoned the topic. I'm in the middle of finals week, and I've moved past this issue by just re-scaling manually. I am interested to figure out how to accomplish this, so I will come back after finals. Thanks

Out of curiosity; is part of your final exam suppose to demonstrate how you can export Revit to CAD at the correct scale?

Hey I know it's been awhile, but I'm finally able to get back to figuring this out. 

I have this setting "Export views on sheets and links as external references" checked already. 

When I exported again just now it created 4 separate files, one for each of the 3 views and one of all 3. I don't remember it making more than one file when I was last trying this. 

When I save this is what I have set

When I import into Rhino I have these options

I had some scaling issues as well.  I have found that there three instances where the units need to sync up for a 1:1 export for revit => rhino.

1) Your view scale should be at 12"=1'

2) In revit DWG export window click "Modify Export Setup"  => "Units &Coordinates Tab" make sure that one DWG unit is 1 foot.

3) When you open the project in Rhino it will prompt user to choose units, make sure both choices are in feet.

This syncing up units has given me a 1:1 DWG file that i am then able to design in back in revit and not worry about origin point.  Hope this is somewhat helpful!

check the view port scale and export setting Units
