I have stumbled upon a major (artificial) limitation regarding links limiting my firm's workflow on a project. I understand that in this "lite" version of Revit, we do not have access to specific link visibility settings in the VG.
However, my question comes to room tags: Is there a work around to force linked room tags to appear in a parent model in Revit LT? Is there a way to "autotag" all rooms in a project- even if the rooms exist in links? What workflows can be used to create room tags for, say, 10 linked four story townhomes that are the same?
In our project, we are currently working with duplicate townhome linked models. So far, we are able to populate our schedules with the room information from the linked models, but we would also like to see the room tags carry over. Having to go back and replace all room tags within the parent model floor plans seems like such a waste of time- especially when considering this type of functionality is supposed to be advantageous over Autocad when it comes to duplicate floor plans.
If no adequate workflow is found, I may post this to the Ideas forum to ask for this functionality.
