Revit LT Beginner Help

Hello and thank you in advance for the help and support.

I am purchasing Revit LT Suite as an upgrade to ACAD LT when my subscription is ready to renew. I am a 2 seat residential design firm in Florida. Can someone suggest a training manual for Revit LT that pertains to single family homes. I have attempted to use ADT, Softplan, Envisioneer in the past but keep going back to ACAD since that is my background. Since Revit LT uses ACAD drawing commands i think i might catch on this time. Any suggestions are accepted.

Thank you,

Jim Scott

I've used this to teach a Revit class. It does the job pretty well

Any of the Paul Aubin courses on Lynda.com would be perfect for you.

Lynda.com - Revit Tutorials

Stick with it and really try not to fall back to AutoCAD. Technology moves way to fast if you're stuck in the "can't teach an old dog new tricks" mentality.

Forget "Revit uses ACAD commands."

Maybe some of them DO overlap, but going in with that mentality is going to hinder you, not help you.

I am not aware of any "Revit using AutoCAD commands". You should start fresh without any AutoCAD mentality in mind when you learn Revit.

P/s: ADT or ACA is at least running on AutoCAD interface and sharing basic commands. But you already gave up on it so...
