Revit Family creation

Hi I have created a Metsec 302M20 beam using the standard beam.rfa and have loaded it into my project.

On placing it on plan all looks fine as it does on section but when i offset from my level so that it sits beneath a slab it dissappears. What do i do to make it appear as hidden lines.

I have a 203UC60 next to it that looks fine so all my view graphics are fine.

Hi Barry,

Are you working in Revit Architecture or Revit Structure? Do you have a small sample file that shows the issue you can attach so we can take a closer look?
