hi guys,
I know there are no layers (like AutoCAD) in Revit and that when you export the model gets the layer specified for that specific elements e.g. Generic family have "A-GENM" , columns have "S-colm" and so on.
In my case I have to create families with many different members in one family. Right now I am just giving it a color (in material browser) in Revit so that I can identify them, but I would like if there is an option so that when I export the Revit file I will get the layers of the specified material or color.
If anyone have any idea about this, or better method to do so please help!
