Revit 2020 linking to ProjectWise Connection Client: Open application then sudden crash and will not launch

I am posting my resolution to this issue.
After downloading updates to my Revit products, my next step was to LAUNCH the 2020 product.
I Clicked OPEN and Revit popup appeared asking to RUN program to link ProjectWise Connection Client. After clicking OK/ACCEPT Revit would no longer launch beyond looking like it would open. Instead, it would crash before having any menu to select.
This action of accepting the connection to ProjectWise disrupted all 3 Revit versions (2019,2020,2021) contained on my laptop rendering them all useless until resolving. I lost 4 hours of productive work time trying to sleuth the issue including...
1. Repair multiple times
2. Reinstall multiple times
3. Drastically uninstalling Revit 2020

4. Install new software for Revit 2020.

The newly installed version would not launch.
RESOLUTION:  Control Panel>Programs and Features>Uninstall or change a program>select ProjectWise Explorer CONNECT Edition>Change
In the pop-up dialog box, go to:
iDesktop Integration>uncheck checkboxes for all instances of Revit programs>click MODIFY.
Launch Revit, which will be able to launch without restarting the machine.
Please post any patch links to this glitch in the product.

This link to ProjectWise Explorer Connect appears to work fine with Autocad 2021.
