Revit 2020 File Menu

I am having an issue with the Revit 2020 student version.  When trying to access the file menu under a student account, the menu does not drop down (works under an admin account).  I have updated to 2020.1 and looked at the .ini file along with changing the setting to not save recent files with no success.  Can anyone lead me in the right direction to get this fixed.  Thanks in advance.
