Revit 2019 saves via Synchronize with Central disappear after crash

Does anyone have best practices to avoid missing/corrupted Revit backups? I'm using Revit 2019.2.2. I don't experience this issue with 2020 or 2021. I've tried reinstalling/re-patching without success.

The software will randomly stop responding and crash. My previous saves via Synchronize with Central (verified via Date Modified in explorer) every 30min to 1hr go missing, and the only saved file or backup left will be from 1st thing that day.

I'm working directly in a central model saved locally.

What am I doing wrong?

I don't see an option to edit my post, so I'll add this here for future reference. The same thing happened again while saving the file after copy/monitoring an architect's lighting family. I'm going to check if there's any issues with corrupt families.
