Revit 2017 - Text Display Issue

Hi,

Multiple staff in our office are getting text display issues using Revit 2017.

The errors are only happening in one model and it is collaborative.

Has anyone had a similar issue?

It kind of looks like a graphics display issue but I'm unsure.

Was this project initially made in R2016 and later updated to R2017?

 

There have been changes made to the text editor in R2017. As a result some notes/tags which were created in R2016 could appear differently in R2017.

You might need to change the type settings for those text notes.

Thanks for your response.

No, the model was always in Revit 2017. It was never upgraded.

The text that is appearing multiple times in random views, can be selected and can be deleted.

Very weird.

 

Because it can be selected it makes me think its not a display error and more a text or code error.

After review. Error was highly likely to have been PEBCAK due to un-trained staff using Model. Smiley Mad

If you are still facing issues please send us a journal file and your Revit model to troubleshoot further. I can send you a private folder to upload.

 

Also, please check if your updates for your Revit version.
