Use Parts tool. With this you can "separate" sub-elements (i.g. layers, sweeps, reveals, even custom slices of a wall) and change its properties without losing element's integrity:

Once desired elements are converted to parts they can be scheduled in a special schedule. This schedule won't recognize elements by sub-categories (such as reveal, sweeps, etc.), so you need to play with other parameters to identify and organize them. This video explain the whole process:
