How/ where do you findfa 110 patch panel, bring in the correct annotation tag?  AlsoAwhy cant I editethe annotationaquestion mark?  DoDi neednto associate itito a schedule or material takeoff.  The communication devices icon on the dropdown looks like an RJ 45 plug but everything I've seensis generic and I can't add specifics.  I'm just diving into the world of AV for a consultant and running into frustration on something that I'd think would be intuitive and simple.  HELP!

It would be helpful if you could reformulate your questions in such a way it is understandable.

One question I could figure out is: why can't I edit the question mark of my tag?

Tags do read information from elements. If that particular information is not there, it will display a question mark.

When editing the tag (in the family editor) you will find a label that tells you which information it reads.

In order to edit the question mark, you will have to adjust the label to extract the right information, or you might want to fill in that particular information in the element.

Let me be more specific.

Objective 1:  find and load, or create, a family/component.  I want this to be a 110 Patch panel.  Does the Revit BIM library or any content sites have something like this that anyone knows of or is it more specific and I'm best off creating it myself.

Objective 2:  Add specific notes as to the type and specifications of the pieces of eq I'm loading in.

Objective 3:  Correctly tag these on the drawings with the Hexagonal numbers which will correspond to the sheet notes.
