Railing issue - any solution?

Hello, 

Why is it possible to separate the railing at one staircase, but at the other, as marked, it is not possible to separate the railing? I have visualized the problem as best as possible. Is there a solution to the problem? Thanks in advance.

The path of a railing when sketch must be continuous but you can split the railing to multiple segments using Split tool.

Split Elements - Delete Inner Segment is good for it as you want a gap.
