How to embed a railing, or make it in front of a wall that is (3) stories?

Why can't you sketch it in front of the Wall?

...or are you saying you want a 3-story tall balusters?

...Maybe doing the Railing as a Curtain Wall/Panel would be better.  Can you post an Elevation View of Railing?

The wall is a 3-story element, so the railing is on the 1st floor.

The railing needs to be in front of the wall. whenever the wall is cut, it disappears on all floor levels.

hat are you trying to make? Is it a railing for a balcony? If so it might be best to use a railing family, that way it hosts to a level, not to a wall that you are cutting away.

Maybe you can model it anywhere and pick new then pick the floor on that level.

I'm terribly confused. "Railing embedded in wall"???  Are you maybe trying  to figure out how to create an opening in the Wall for the railing  -- or is the railing fastened to the exterior of Wall as a decorative element (e.g. no Wall opening)?

I'm trying to show railings on multiple floors, while not cutting the lower walls. I think that I have solved it.
