"Highlighted lines overlap" when creating Extrusion in Family

Hi there,

I am attempting to create a Family in Revit of a 'cardboard cutout' of a pot plant. I have been doing this by importing a DWG outline of a pot plant, and then using the Pick Lines command to extrude the lines. My problem is that when I Tab-Select all the lines I get the warning "Highlighted lines overlap. Lines may not form closed loops". Even though outside of the extrusion 'mode' , there appears to be no overlapping lines? I am wondering whether it is to do with the DWG being made of splines? Any ideas on how to solve this?

I've attached the Revit file below.

Thanks in advance.
