Trouble with the fence texture - it's not transparent or showing up as it should

I hope one of you great people on here can help me understand this. I have a 3D-model of a school with a football court that has a fence around it. For the chain link fence, I used the Revit one. I go into the material browser, create new material, replace this asset and find the chain link fence. I set it up exactly as it should be, and it shows up great in Enscape. However, I took a break from this project, and upon getting back to it now, my fence is all white with no texture, even though the texture still shows up as the fence one that looked so good before.

Just to test it, I created a new project and put up a simple wall in which I put the fence texture on (created it per "recipe" all over again) and even this one shows up white (or grey) in Enscape. So what am I missing? It is of no relevance, but just to have tried everything I can think of, I did check and uncheck the "use render appearance" under graphics tab and it makes no difference.

If I can't make this work again, any other suggestions as to how I can make this fence look like a chain link fence?

I came upon the solution myself. Well, not really... more of a workaround. My Revit texture files were somehow broken. I got a colleague of mine to send me his, and the fence works again.
