Quantification - Room Calculation

Hello forum peeps!

I am trying to work with the room calculation tool from revit, but I am quite bad at it, and I cannot really find good tutorials and instructional material, does someone already uses this? How did you learn, where can I find more information about this?

My biggest problem now is that the areas are not showing in the room calculation from the building. 

PS: I am working from germany, therefore need to adapt to german normas also.

What is the end goal you are trying to get to?

Maybe some sample files might help to give us a better understanding of what you want to achieve.

Is this using families to schedule within Rooms, etc.
