PTS scan not indexing

FYI this issue also occurs in Revit 2018.2 when importing PTS scan and Indexing to RCP.  It's processing, but progress bar doesn't work:

I'm checking back on this post.

 

How big is the file? Does this happen with other files? Can you navigate to the support folder and check if it has an RCS file?

I attempted a few scans. After about 4 hours, the progress bar would say 100% complete, but the RCP file was only a few KB, and the RCS only 103KB. This coming from a 106 GB PTS file. It failed it index every time in Revit.
I then attempted in ReCap Pro, and the same thing happened on the first attempt. No progress bar and failed to index properly.
After that, I updated ReCap to the latest version and then indexed. It then successfully indexed to a 6 GB RCS file, but failed to show progress bar during the operation in ReCap.

Let me check with a ReCap specialist on this issue.

 

However, we would need a journal and your file to test and compare results once we reproduce this issue.

@Anonymous I found this idea regarding progress bars. You are welcome to add your comments to this idea.
