Hello,
I am trying to create a complex fascia profile that is made of 3 different pieces but I need each piece to be under its own subcategory so that when I load it into the project I can make a schedule that shows the different pieces individually.
I have already tried the typical way to add a subcategory which is just to go into the object styles, but it only gives me the option to add a subcategory to the reference lines and not he drawn lines that I have for the profile.
Is there any other way to add a subcategory or is it even possible within a profile family?

Even if you could do it, you can't Schedule Profiles anyway. Instead, why don't you buildup your Fascia with different TYPES, each using a different Profile? Model it the way it will get built in the field. One piece on top of other.

What do MTOs have to do with Profiles? If you buildup the fascia using multiple Fascia Types you can assign different materials to each Type.

You wouldn't need Subcategories. You can Sort, Group and Filter the Fascias in the Schedules by Type Name.
