Problem with snapping (Rhino object)

14F070D1-F4CF-4211-8960-26D97BA8263B.jpeg

I have created objects in Rhino and imported them to Revit (basic geometry is the same in both). I can snap to the first one but not to the second. What could be the problem?

@HEIKKI.VUORINEN

Export as separate Elements...ie: each as a 3dm >>> then import both into the same family/in-place

Otherwise use a different format than .3dm

  • DWG
  • Or FBX to Formit then Formit to Revit

Alternatively use the Rhino plugin which provide interop Revit and Rhino https://www.rhino3d.com/features/rhino-inside-revit/

Thanks,

RhinoinsideRevit worked. The reason might have related to the orientation/ortho of the object.
