Problem with annotation tags when roatating scope box

Hi,

My problem looks like that.

I have a main view of a whole building with dimensions, spot elevation tags and so on.

Parts of the building are at different angles so to make them straight on the sheet I copy my main view as dependent few times, and apply scope box to each. Then rotate each scope box.

While dimensions or door tags that follow in orientation hosts, rotate ok, there are some elements that don't.

- text element of spot elevation tags. Graphic part is correct.

- curtain panel tags, with applied angle parameter

- stairs tags that are rotated inside a family

Is there any solution for this ?

Two thoughts:

-Maybe use Duplicate with Detailing the views, instead of making Dependent Views.

-Try rotating the views, instead us using a scope box and rotating it.

Unfortunately,

According to your first solution, we want to have one full view to keep consistency across parts so dependent views are must have. Rotating the view results the same problems.

Any other ideas?

Annotate after you rotated the scope boxes / views, not before.

Hi, I know this question was asked some time ago. But I have come across the same problem. I'm using a scope box for my project.

Did you find a solution?

Hi, same problems here.

Main view ->structural plan view which we show whole building and do modeling in.

Then we have these duplicate as a dependent views that have been done with scobe box.

And as you can see here, we need to rotate part 2, so it fits to paper size and looks fine.

This far everything goes like planned.

Tags and texts show in the main view and in the part 1 view ok because we don't need to rotate these views.

Part 2 we have problems because tags rotate automatically and of course in the wrong way. (or different way than in the main plan)

(I think these turn in to readable, and it doesn't matter is there dot in keep readable or not in the tags parameter)

We should have element ID:s showing same way in every plan

(f.e. hollow core slabs and deltabeams).  Could somebody help me.

I fixed this issue by changing the view from dependent to independent. You obviously loose the functions a dependent view give you, but this was the only way I found to get spot levels to align on the page.

Dependent views are partial views of the parent view and as such won't work properly when rotated.
