Strange visual glitch appearing in all my files

Revit LT

Hi,

I'm at a complete loss. No problems with any of my files until this morning.

I opened the file for an ongoing project to find a strange, multi-coloured 'plain' with lines radiating from a central point (see attached pic).

It appears to be a plain as when I rotate the view it spins / changes perspective with the model. It is appearing in all views. When I zoom in really close it disappears. I can't select it. I've selected everything and then tried to filter the selection but with no luck. I've printed to a pdf and it does not show up.

I tried some older files (some from 2015) and the same glitch is showing. I was using 2018 but updated to 2019 this morning to see if that helped but the same thing happened.

Would it be a graphics card problem rather than a revit issue?

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

You unintentionally downloaded the alienpack for Revit?

Just kidding; I think it is a graphics card problem, rather than Revit.

Maybe you find the solution in this thread.

Did you post about this before? If not, there was a similar thread and screenshot posted on this forum about a month ago.  If I remember correctly, the issue turned out to be that the model was too far from the Project's Internal Origin. I'll see if I can find it and link you to it.

I was beginning to think it was the Joker but you were right - its the graphics card. I turned off hardware acceleration and POW problem solved.

Thank you.
