Problem Exporting PDFs

I'm having an issue that when I print using either of my two PDF printers. (Bluebeam or PDFCreator) it is screwing up the text and graphical styles of some elements on the page. I'll attach the PDF to you can see the messed up one versus the good one. I was having this issue about a week ago and I fixed it by restarting my computer. I just tried to do the same thing including a full shutdown but that did not fix this problem this time. Any ideas?

Microsoft has done some damage with a recent update that created a global issue with many PDF drivers.

You can try to follow autodesk guidelines.

Or you can also download the DiRoots ProSheets Add-in and follow the steps.

Hi Autodesk Support team,

I am currently working with Revit 2021.1.9, and I am facing an issue in print PDF that want to include Rooms.

When I try to print PDF and open it on BlueBeam, the rooms are not being recognized.

I have ensured that:

  • Rooms are correctly placed and visible in Revit
  • Visibility settings include Rooms and Room Tags
  • I checked both Vector and Raster setting

Despite these settings, the exported PDF does not retain the room boundaries in a way that can be recognized as Spaces in Bluebeam. I have tested this with different PDF printers, including Bluebeam PDF and Microsoft Print to PDF, but the issue persists.

Could you please advise if there is a specific workflow or setting in Revit that ensures Rooms and Spaces are properly recognized when exporting to PDF?

Best regards,
