Problem exporting and importing an IFC Model.

Hello to all,

We have a problem exporting an IFC model. We have a project where we have to exchange our 3D models with other offices. As it is a big model, we divide it in 2. Each one of them with the same "Project Base Point", which does not have the same position as the "Original Point" (the model was given to us with this issue, and we cannot change its position). After exporting our IFC FIle, we check them in Solibri, to check the quality of the File (Position, Parameters, etc.) and everything seems correct.

But, when one of the Offices imports our IFC Files into their Modeling Program (also Revit), one of the Models looks bad (Image). We tried several times to check what could be the problem, but so far we have found it.

Have you ever had this problem?

PS: Due to our Contract, we cannot exchange RVT files, wich it could not be a solution.

Does exporting on different detail levels help? I have run into this issue with PCs having not enough RAM to actually deal with the large IFCs. It would still open the IFC but it would have errors and weird geometry all over the place.

And what IFC 'version' are you using? because they differ very much in how the end result looks.

I tried it and it looks the same, no improvement.

Also, we ahve been using IFC 2x3. But we got this Issue only with one File.
