Pattern component Shadow?

Anonymous
Not applicable

So I created the following pattern component as my light filter for my design. But the shadow from it looks like a regular orthogonal grid. Only if I select one of the created components, the shadow changes and looks like the actual pattern I made. Is there any way to fix this?

The shadows look right both when I save it as a PDF and when in sheet view.

Then no need to be worried.  Revit just simplifies the shadow graphic on screen to increase performance.
