Painting material parameter on wall.

Hello,

Now I´m doing renovation´s project.

I´m caluculating wall painting cost in revit.

I´m using painting material tool then I was making materil list to calculate.

But I have to pick one by one for changing material on face. and it takes long.

Is there way to set up material parameter on face in a wall like another family?

Depending on your needs there can be several different approaches.

-Add a (thin) layer to the existing wall with the paint material assigned.

-Add a thin single layer wall and put it against the regular wall.

-Use sweeps with paint material assigned.

-Create a wall/face based family with the paint material and stick it to the walls were needed.
