Nothing is appearing in level 2

I am trying to copy a floor plan I drew in level one into level two. I changed the height of the walls and the constraints to the right levels but when I click level two nothing is there. I also have tried to find the first floor plan by changing the underlay and it is still not there. If you could help me out I would appreciate it. Thank you.

On the First floor - select everything you want to copy to the Second Floor.

Click Copy

The click Paste to Aligned Levels

Select Second Floor.

It should all appear in the right place.

I want to place it on top of my other drawing I did on my floor plan but it doesn't show my existing plan in level 2 and I tried to show it by underlying but it did not work

Even after copying aligned to selected levels?

Have you followed the steps from my previous post?

To see the First Floor in the Second Floor plan, go into Properties and change the Underlay to Look Down and Range Base Level to First Floor.

are you working with Phases by chance? If so, toggle the view's Phase Filter to "None". Should see what you copied then.

I was able to copy to the second floor but it doesn't show the first floor when I have the underlay on the right way because I want to put that floor on top of the first floor. When I change the properties of the wall to go all the way to the roof it doesn't even show the wall in floor two when it should.

No I'm not I am just trying to show the first floor in the second floor but the underlay is not working for some reason

Can you share the file just to see exactly what is going on with it?

I'll bet money that this is a view range issue. To upload your project with your post, CHOOSE FILE under Attachments.

Did you see my previous post about phasing? Set it to "none" and everything is visible, just as I said before. You ARE using phasing, so you need to set a phase and filter option in each view.

BTW: You got a boat-load of warnings that need to be reconciled.

Make sure phasing for both views looks like this -

The highlighted item was the cause of your troubles, BTW

Your statement of copying floor plan and then opening it to  PASTE in the second floor level  doesn't work. There is no Paste with coordinates available. Nor can I find the Phasing that you speak of and turning it to NONE.

Your comment  " To see the First Floor in the Second Floor plan, go into Properties and change the Underlay to Look Down and Range Base Level to First Floor." doesn't work either.

I have tried finding your Phasing dialogue box but there is no toggle for turning Project completion to NONE nor is there an option after copying a floor plan to PASTE it onto the Upper Level.  Is it that there are some changes from Revit 2016 to 2019?

See attached.

There is only a couple of places on the entire screen saying "Phase" so if you can't find it under one place then go to the next one right below it.
