No wireframe in elevation

No wireframe view- they are all greyed out, in elevation? Why?

You do have a view template on your elevation? Change it via your view template. Or hit the checkmark for display options, it will exclude it from the view template and you can change it the regular way.

I had no view template, but even if Iadd the architectural template and play with the display options, this doesn't seem to become accessible? What exactly do I have to hit?

Red is excluding it and changing it the regular way. Otherwise change it to wireframe under the blue drop-down.

I suspect the same thing as @Avaris. does; Template. If that isn't it, I sure like to hear back from you with additional info.  I cannot think of anything else that would cause Wireframe to be grayed out.
