Need Help Tagging Reference Images for Trees and Palms in Revit

Hi everyone,

I'm working on landscape architectural planting plans in Revit and currently facing a challenge with tagging and scheduling reference images for trees and palms.

Current Workflow:
I use PNG images to represent trees and palms in 2D plans. These images are currently labeled with regular text labels (e.g., tree name, species, etc.). I need to replace these text labels with tags that can be linked to parameters and schedules properly.

What I've Tried:
I created custom families using the Generic Annotation template to insert the images and added shared parameters for the template for the text information (e.g., tree name and species etc.). However, the PNG images don’t retain their transparency when imported, and I encountered issues when trying to set up visibility parameters or tag these images.

What I Need:
A method to tag these reference images in a way that allows the text information to be scheduled. The tags need to display multiple lines of text (e.g., tree name and count). I also need the PNG images to retain their colors and transparency in the 2D plan view.

I’m looking for a solution or workflow that can handle this setup efficiently. Any guidance or suggestions on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help.

I will attach an image for your reference.

Would this allow me to scale each one individually?

You know, you might want to head over to https://archvision.com/

Maybe additional RPC content what you need. FWIW, the RPC content that's in the stock Revit Content Library is provided by Archvison.
