Hi,

One day of sudden, when i opened a model in revit all my materials looked blue, like in the picture, i already looked at the materials...

Someone can get me a hint of what is happening.

Nice model!

Go into each material, and make sure that Use Render Appearance is checked.

If this is not checked, then the model will take on the color that you see - in my case, it would be the grey.

Hi Rina Sahay,

Thank you for answering, but checked and unchecked, my materials still show in blue color.

Thank you anyway.

Ezio Alves.

What color are they supposed to be?  Can you edit the material and show screenshot of the Graphics and Appearance tabs?

I will link my model, i hope it is not too big, and will, show how my material should look by images

I really think that the problem is in my computer, because all my models are with this shades of blue.

Thanks for testing @Sahay_R

Hi @ezio16

Sorry to hear that you are facing graphic issues.

Please try the following recommendations:

  1. Try disabling Hardware Acceleration within Revit. If this clears the behavior, then it indicates the issue is with the Graphics Card / Graphics Driver. Start by updating the graphics card (or by loading a certified driver version, if the card has been certified). Note: If a certified driver is already loaded, uninstall and then reinstall the driver (in case the installation is damaged).
  2. If disabling Hardware Acceleration does not clear the issue, check the following:
    • Is the issue specific to a single project?
    • Is the issue specific to a single system (or user account)?
    • Has Revit been updated to the latest build?
    • Try addiing OptimizedViewNavigation=0 to the revit.ini (find the revit.ini at this location:C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\<product name and release>)

Let us know if you were able to resolve the issue.

Please mark this response as "Accept as Solution" if it answers your question. Kudos gladly accepted.

Hello, I've been having the same issue with my model being blue. I've tried to turn off hardware accleration, but that doesn't work for me. It is the same across all of my project files.

Is anyone else experiencing this behavior?

Have you tried the above suggestions?
