Move Revit library folder to another location

Hi,

We are organizing our server folders. And we want to move the Revit Library Folder to another location on server.

On this library we have our templates, families, materials and etc..

I just want to know if I can move the shared parameter folder with the text files in it. I'm not sure what will happen or should I change anything in the revit options or template.

What about families. As far as I know I may  not have any problems with moving family library to another location. Just want to be sure about it.

You can move the Shared Parameter file. It’s not going the affect anything, unless someone needs it and can’t find it.

I always liked @SteveKStafford's description of a Shared Parameter File: It’s like a Dictionary; you don’t need to carry one around with you to be able to talk.
