Move All Project Elements
Did you notice if the Options Bar offered a check box for Constrain? Relationships between elements will affect the Move options. You can also try Disjoin assuming that appears next to Constrain.
As long as the model is not very far from the Project's Internal Origin you can just leave it alone. Revit only cares about the model being near the origin (technically not farther than 10 miles from it, which is pretty far away). Linking models using Origin to Origin is sufficient to ensure they are lined up to each other if you're dealing with several discipline models. If you need to relate it to a site DWG (survey) or export to Navisworks for collaboration then the Shared Coordinate system is designed to contend with that.
In a sense the Revit internal origin much like the World Coordinate System origin in AutoCAD. Many people completely ignore it and start drawing wherever they feel like it or where the Xref's they attach land. Other people make sure they start their project at the origin or in a specific quadrant relative to it. As long as a given project team is consistent for that project either approach works, no matter how crazy it might make the others.

you can use the Relocate Project tool to move the entire project to a new N/E location.

That does NOT move the project relative to the Internal Origin nor does it move the model closer/farther from the origin.
