How can I create a form of security to my model before sending it to other consultants

such as a username and password

or any other form.

@Anonymous NO, cannot create username and password. Revit model is for coordination and collaboration. thanks

Nothing native. You will have to investigate if a 3rd party application exists.

@ToanDN, I think his concern is for unauthorized changes

 

@Anonymous - the only thing that I can think of is to send a read-only file.

 

However I don't think that any consultant / collaborator would want to run the risk of taking on your liability by making unauthorized changes to your model.

If it's to prevent someone opening the file without your permission then zip it with a password.

If it's​ to prevent someone editing the file then you better have a legal contract.
