Model Lines x Symbolic Lines Visibility

Hey guys I am having some issues with my lines showing behind my object in my plan view. What I would like to happen is that my lines (some SYMBOLIC // MODEL lines) would not appear behind object on top of them, in thus case my structural column. I want these lines to not appear behind my object but the only way I found out how to do this is to turn off these layers (which I don´t want to do because I want them to show if there are no objects covering them).

You can place detail linework in a Model Family on a Ref. Plane Work Plane that is below the Detail Plane.  You do this by unchecking Draw in Foreground.
